How to boost a post on Facebook

If you’re using Facebook as a marketing tool, you may want to consider boosting a post as a short-term measure to increase exposure for your brand. We’ve used Facebook’s ‘boost post’ feature for many campaigns, and seen some great results for very little outlay. (Facebook has recently launched its Product Ads service – more about that soon!) What is the boost post feature? When you’re next administering your company’s Facebook page, take a moment to notice the little ‘boost post’ label at the bottom of your latest post. This little feature can help your post get seen by a wider audience. A boosted post will appear higher up in your audience’s newsfeed, and will carry the label ‘sponsored post’. How…

New case study

We are delighted to add a new case study to our growing portfolio, this time from Eternal Collection. Eternal Collection is a wonderful, dynamic eCommerce and mail order costume jewellery company, which asked us to help them generate a larger proportion of sales online. The next challenge…

Sometimes they’re highly informed, enthusiastic amateurs, blogging in their spare time. Others are professionals in their field, building a business through the…

What does Google’s latest update mean?

Penguin, Panda – it’s easy to get confused about Google’s latest algorithm updates.  Panda 4.1 was released in September and Penguin 3.0 just last week (18th October).  But what do they mean for your business? In short, if you’ve been doing SEO the right way – by creating quality content and building natural links to that content, your website is likely to be unaffected.  What Google is trying to do is continue to clamp down on the websites which are trying to cheat the system with over optimised (keyword-stuffed) pages and poor quality backlink profiles. If you’ve been cutting corners, perhaps by worrying about getting keywords into your content rather than creating content that will answer your visitors’ most burning…
